As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District is also celebrating our 250th mile of public trail. The new 1.3-mile Grasshopper Loop Trail in La Honda Creek Open Space Preserve opened on the afternoon of Friday, June 3.
Every year, Midpen rangers and other staff participate in an all-day training under the instruction of local fire agencies to remain certified as wildland firefighters.
