CONSENT CALENDAR
All items on the Consent Calendar may be approved without discussion by one motion. Board members, the General Manager, and members of the public may request that an item be removed from the Consent Calendar during consideration of the Consent Calendar.

3. Award of Contract to Ecological Concerns, Inc. for the treatment of invasive species to support the Natural Areas and Fuel Management Master Weed Project (R-26114)

General Manager’s Recommendations:
1. Authorize the General Manager to enter into a contract with Ecological Concerns, Inc., in the amount of $383,295 for one year of invasive species management services.
2. Authorize the General Manager to extend the contract for three additional years, if the program achieves success criteria, for an additional $1,268,754, for a total not-to-exceed contract amount of $1,652,049 over the four-year term.
3. Authorize a contract allowance of $193,956 (first year is $45,000), specifically for consumable items to perform the contracted work for a combined not-to-exceed contract amount of $1,846,005.
4. Update to Board Policy 5.01 – Site Naming, Gift, and Special Recognition (R-26-115)

General Manager’s Recommendation: Approve an update to Board Policy 5.01 – Site Naming, Gift, and Special Recognition regarding special recognition eligibility for constituent-requested bench dedications to honor or remember a significant supporter or volunteer.
5. Granite Data Solutions Computer Workstations Procurement (R-26-116)

General Manager’s Recommendation: Authorize the General Manager to purchase Dell computer workstations in the amount of $80,000 from Granite Data Solutions.
6. Contract Amendment with Balance Hydrologics for the Purisima Pond Restoration Project (R-26-117)

General Manager’s Recommendation: Authorize the General Manager to execute a contract amendment in the amount of $57,160 with Balance Hydrologics, Inc. of Santa Cruz, California to provide additional design, material testing, permit reporting, and construction administration services for the Purisima Pond Restoration Project, bringing the contract total to a new not-to-exceed total amount of $307,701.
7. Award of Construction Contract for the Purisima Pond Restoration Project (R-26118)

General Manager’s Recommendations:
1. Award a contract to Old La Honda General Engineering of La Honda, CA, for the Purisima Pond Restoration Project for a not-to-exceed base amount of $119,679.
2. Authorize an allowance in the amount of $15,972 for the potential import of engineered fill material.
3. Authorize a contingency of 15% in the amount of $17,952 to be reserved for unanticipated issues, bringing the total-not-to-exceed contract amount to $153,603.
8. Award of Contract to complete the Interim Stabilization and Re-Roofing Plan for Hawthorns Historic Complex (R-26-119)

General Manager’s Recommendations:
1. Award a contract to SAE Consulting Engineering of San Jose, California for a not-to-exceed base amount of $720,000.
2. Authorize a contingency of 20% in the amount of $144,000 to be reserved for unanticipated structural issues, bringing the total not-to-exceed to $864,000.
9. Award of Contract for the L’Andre and Big Dipper Barn Structures Removal Project in Long Ridge and Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserves (R-26-120)

General Manager’s Recommendations:
1. Award a contract to Randazzo Enterprises, Inc. of Castroville, California for the L’Andre and Big Dipper Barn Structures Removal Project in a not-to-exceed amount of $275,304.
2. Authorize a 10% contingency in the amount of $27,531 to be reserved for unanticipated issues, bringing the total not-to-exceed contract amount to $302,835.

10. Oral Update on Stevens Creek Nature Trail Interpretive Panels

General Manager’s Recommendation: Receive an oral informational presentation on the updated Stevens Creek Nature Trail interpretive panels. No Board action required.
11. Upper Stevens Creek Trail Connection Project -- Status Update (R-26-121)

General Manager’s Recommendation: Receive a status update on the Upper Stevens Creek Trail Connection Project. No Board action is required.
