We will meet at the Mount Umunhum Summit Parking Area and hike down the Mount Umunhum Trail. We'll make some stops to practice mindfulness techniques, make observations, and enjoy the oak woodlands around us. After our hike we'll enjoy some tamales and other food/snacks.
Things to note:
- The trail is a moderate, out and back ~4 total miles with about 680 ft in elevation.
- Please arrive early to find parking. We'll be meeting at the Mount Umunhum Summit Parking Area at the end of Mount Umunhum Road.
- The trail is quite shady with a few exposed areas. Please bring sun screen, plenty of water, comfortable clothing/shoes, and warm clothes.
- Pets are NOT allowed.
- This event has limited spots! If you RSVP and can no longer attend, please cancel your reservation to allow folks on the waitlist to attend! We greatly appreciate it!
