portable restroom at a trailhead

Kennedy Trailhead Restroom Replacement

This project intends to replace the temporary restroom at the Kennedy Trailhead at Sierra Azul Open Space Preserve as part of our ADA Barrier Removal Project. The project would include the installation of an ADA accessible restroom, an ADA accessible parking stall, and accessible path of travel to the restroom, trailhead and signboards to meet ADA and CBC requirements.

The project is currently on-hold while Midpen evaluates an expanded parking lot to address community concerns about parking and access. This evaluation is scheduled to begin in Fiscal Year 2025.
