Join Midpen partner, Latino Outdoors, on Sunday, May 22nd at 10am at Rancho San Antonio Preserve for a Nature Hike with a fun Scavenger Hunt. Rancho San Antonio County Park & Open Space Preserve offers visitors a unique experience with a sampling of diverse environments, interesting cultural history and a variety of activities.

Wildlife abounds at Rancho San Antonio Preserve. Visitors may see deer grazing in the meadow and flocks of wild turkeys along the trail. Raptors soar overhead and the preserve's many trees provide habitat for a variety of birds.

Things to note:

  • We'll hike around 3 miles with 252 ft in elevation gain!
  • No pets allowed.
  • We'll provide snacks, scavenger hunt sheets, giveaways, and other yummy treats!

Where to Meet

Meet near the restroom at the bottom of the hill in the preserve parking lot farthest to the right. From I-280, take Foothill Boulevard south and turn right almost immediately onto Cristo Rey Drive. Continue about 1 mile, veer right around the traffic circle, and turn left into the park. After entering the preserve, turn right and drive approximately 0.3 miles to Lot 6
