Join Midpen partner, Latino Outdoors on Sunday, August 23 from 8am to noon for their paws and paletas hike at Pulgas Ridge!
Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve is a 366-acre site that offers trails with access to cool canyons and a ridge top with views toward the bay and surrounding hillsides. This preserve is very dog friendly so if you have a furry friend, bring them along! There is a nice off leash section of the park as well.
Please note:
- Dogs are welcome!
- There is a main parking lot and street parking. Be sure to arrive EARLY, since parking can fill up very fast.
- LO waiver, exact meeting location and other details will be sent via email, so keep an eye out.
- We will offer treats and snacks and cool off with paletas!
- Be prepared and bring sun protection (sunscreen/hat, and water), as there is lots of sun exposure.
- We will hike around 2.5 miles with 420 ft in elevation gain, generally considered easy/moderate. Check out the hike here.
