Rancho San Antonio Multimodal Access Program Update

Rancho San Antonio (Mark Hehir)

On September 12, Midpen provided an update on the shuttle and ride hail aspect of the Rancho San Antonio Multimodal Access project. The presentation detailed data collection, background analyses, public engagement, design concepts, and companion transportation demand management (TDM) strategies to implement alongside the proposed shuttle and/or ride hail programs.

The board of directors provided feedback on the performance measures and concept designs, directing staff to finalize the Shuttle and Ride Hail Program Reports to determine potential future implementation at Rancho San Antonio Preserve or other open space preserves.

The project team will present the findings from the shuttle and ride hail studies as well as more information on the potential scope of work, timeline, costs and indication of type of findings that are expected for a visitor capacity study at a future board meeting.

The Rancho San Antonio Multimodal Access Study aims to identify green modes of transportation to address congestion and parking issues and improve visitor experience.
